-- December 26, 2008 -- We hope everyone had a great holiday! With New Year's just around the corner you've got one last chance to see Skamasutra in 2008! We'll be performing during First Night Portsmouth at the Connie Bean Rec. Center on Daniel Street on December 31st begining at 8:30 p.m. This will be our first show with our new drummer Sam Edese and Jon Campbell will be returning on bass for the occasion. Remember: you must be wearing a First Night '09 button to get in! Be sure to join us as we bring in the new year with songs and friends old and new!
-- December 3, 2008 -- Skamasutra's last shows in 2008 are now posted, don't miss them all! We're excited to say we'll be performing during First Night Portsmouth this year, check the shows page for information!
-- November 19, 2008 -- Skamasutra will be performing live on 100.3 FM between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. this Friday the 21st supporting WHEB’s 'Lend a Helping Can' benefit. This will be the culmination of their 36-hour prize auction (beginning Thursday at 6 am.) to aid local homeless organizations. -- November 12, 2008 -- Our upcoming show at the Ioka Theater in Exeter, NH has been canceled by the venue. Currently our last show this year is December 13th at Milly's Tavern in Manchester, NH. You know what to do.
-- October 21, 2008 -- Come join us October 30th at Holiday's in Auburn, NH for a rockin' Skalloween party!
-- October 5, 2008 -- New show dates added, make sure you're going to the Great Bay Music Festival this weekend in Dover, NH! See you all there!
-- September 4, 2008 -- New show dates added - including two sweet festivals! We'll be performing at the Great Bay Music Festival at Back River Farm in Dover on October 11th, and on the 2008 M.E.A.N.Y. Fest at The Mean Fiddler in New York City on October 18th. See you there!
-- August 12, 2008 -- Thanks to everyone who came to see us last week at Milly's. It was really great so many of you could make it out to wish Nick happy birthday and wish Jon off - thanks for your support! Speaking of birthdays: Dan turns 27 tomorrow; we hope to see you all at The Sad Cafe!
-- July 18, 2008 -- New show dates added! We'll be performing at the 27th annual Pittsfield Hot Air Balloon Festival and Portsmouth's Summer in the Street event on August 2nd, so make sure you make it out to one of those. Also tickets are still available for our HUGE SHOW on August 3rd at Milly's in Manchester. This will be Jon Campbell's last show with Skamasutra, it's also Nick's birthday and our 100th show. It's going to be an epic celebration! Make sure you don't miss this!
-- July 7, 2008 -- Some bad news for our Portland fans: Skamasutra will not be performing at 51 Wharf again this summer. Unfortunately it hasn't been working out for the band or the venue so we're canceling the remaining dates. Thanks to all who came out to see us rock the Old Port! On another note: we've got a big show this Friday the 11th at Paddy's in Portsmouth, NH with JR from 100.3 WHEB - all fans of legal drinking age should attend! Scope that shows page!

-- May 10, 2008 -- Are you getting enough Skamasutra? A recent study found that Skamasutra reduces stress and may help lower cholesteral. Doctors recommend taking all your friends to at least one show a month. Side effects include: euphoria, involuntary dancing, and a really good time. -- April 3, 2008 -- We've just confirmed a bunch of show dates; check 'em out! Begining next Thursday the 10th we'll be playing regularly at 51 Wharf in Portland, Maine through October. During that time we'll be trading off Thursday nights at the club there with our good buddies Soak. Make sure to come out one of those nights if you're into having a good time. We look forward to seeing you all at a show soon!

-- January 28, 2008 -- We want to thank everyone who came out to our CD release shows and made them such a success. We had a really great time and we sold over fifty copies of the new album! That being said we still have plenty left for those of you who haven't gotten a copy yet. Currently the album can only be purchased from members of the band, at shows, and via mail-order, but we're working on getting it on CDBaby, iTunes, and at Bullmoose Music. We'll let you know when they're available through those vendors. If you need the album right away send us an e-mail and we'll get it to you by mail-order - with no added cost to orders within the continental U.S.
